Scholarship for local student awarded! Congratulations to Zachary Baer, a recent graduate of Woodland High School in Stockbridge and winner of the $1,000 scholarship for a Georgia resident beginning their freshman year in Fall 2011! He will be heading off to Mississippi State to major in Chemical Engineering in the fall. Welcome to the Mississippi Society of Georgia family! |

Fundraiser for Mississippi Tornado VictimsWednesday, May 4, 2011, the Mississippi Society of Georgia held a "happy hour" at Tavern 99 in Buckhead to support the victims of the tornados in Mississippi. Over $550 was rasied in addition to a full SUV with over $1,000 worth of goods for those in need. Thank you for your kindness!! |
