2023 Scholarship Applications in Review

Thanks to our generous supporters, we are happy to announce that we will award a scholarship for a class of 2023 Georgia high school senior to attend a four-year Mississippi institution in the fall of 2023. The award is paid directly to the school as $500 in the fall and $500 in the spring.

We plan to announce the winner soon. Good luck to all of the applicants!

2022

Congratulations to Caleb McWhorter of Alliance Academy for Innovation of Cumming, GA, and winner of the $1,000 scholarship for 2022! He is off to Mississippi State where he will major in Architecture. Caleb looks forward to pursuing his ultimate career goal of designing sustainable and affordable buildings to improve housing and decrease environmental impact, keeping our neighborhoods cleaner and healthier.

2021

Congratulations to Kimberly Sagoes, a graduate of Archer High School in Lawrenceville, GA, and winner of the $1,000 scholarship for 2021! She is enrolled at Mississippi State where she will major in Kinesiology/Exercise Physiology while preparing for a career as a Physical Therapist.

2020

Congratulations to Jordyn Burns, a graduate of Sandy Creek High School in Tyrone, GA, and winner of the $1,000 scholarship for 2020! She has already started her journey at Alcorn State in the fall where she is a 3rd generation Alcornite. Jordyn looks forward to pursuing her ultimate career goal of providing environmentally friendly means of producing agriculture products globally to eradicate world hunger.

2019

Congratulations to Chase McClure, a graduate of Tattnall Square Academy in Macon, GA, and winner of the $1,000 scholarship for 2019! He is enrolled at Mississippi State where he will serve in the Air Force ROTC while preparing for a career in law.

2018

Congratulations to Kaitlin Wingard, a graduate of North Forsyth High School in Cumming and winner of the $1,000 scholarship for 2018! She is enrolled at Mississippi State to begin classes in the fall.

2017

Congratulations to Josh Leonce, a graduate of Cambridge High School in Milton and winner of the $1,000 scholarship for 2017! He is enrolled at Millsaps where he plans to major in Business Administration.

2016

Congratulations to Samantha Marshall, a graduate of Columbus High School in Columbus and winner of the $1,000 scholarship for 2016! She is enrolled at Mississippi State to major in Landscape Architecture (as you might have guessed from her picture!)

2015

Congratulations to Claire Williams, a graduate of Columbus High School in Columbus and winner of the $1,000 scholarship for 2015! She is enrolled at Mississippi State where she plans to major in Human Sciences.

2014

Congratulations to David King, a graduate of Lambert High School in Suwanee and winner of the $1,000 scholarship for 2014! He is enrolled at Mississippi State. (David was unable to attend due to an Eagle Scout event, so his parents accepted for him.)

2013

Congratulations to Jasmin Revels, a graduate of Collins Hill High School in Suwanee and winner of the $1,000 scholarship for 2013! She is enrolled at Mississippi State.

2012

Congratulations to Ashton Braddock, a graduate of Lambert High School in Suwanee and winner of the $1,000 scholarship for 2012! She is enrolled at Mississippi State.

Congratulations to Zachary Baer, a graduate of Woodland High School in Stockbridge and winner of the inaugural $1,000 scholarship in 2011! He is at Mississippi State majoring in Chemical Engineering.
